Unusual stirring of the Holy Spirit
Often there are two issues I see. One is that we want to make something happen rather than trusting God to take care of us even if someone takes advantage of us.
Two, I feel like the Lord showed me that He Himself will be so radically different from us and even offensive in some ways when we meet Him face to face that He uses difficult issues with other believers to prepare us to interact with Him as a man and not just as God. When we can submit and receive the work of God through an individual that may be difficult for us to deal with, we will also be able to submit and work with Christ Himself when He returns to rule the earth. For His ways will truly not be our ways.
in light of your words here about Paul and his action I submit the Word of God for my response:
Psa 139:1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
Psa 139:2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.
Psa 139:3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.
Psa 139:4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
Psa 139:5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.
Psa 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
Psa 139:7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
Psa 139:8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
Psa 139:9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Psa 139:10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
Psa 139:11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,"
Psa 139:12 even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
I do not know Paul Cain personally but I do know some who do. Paul prophesied about me to one of my long time friends.
He, as we all, need to tread lightly hotly pursuing this admonition:::>
Gal 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
Gal 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Gal 6:3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Gal 6:4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.
Gal 6:5 For each will have to bear his own load.
I know this response is somewhat abstract. But, hey, you are a man of the Spirit and the Spirit of the Lord speaks to you. Consider my response and the Lord indeed will give you understanding.
